Breeding your mare to one of our jacks is clean, safe and efficient.
A mare that is used to donkeys will stand for a jack just like she would for a stallion. It has happened naturally in the wild farther back then we can track. All three of our jacks will breed mares as well as jennets. A mare in heat seeing a jack for the first time, may not be an enthusiastic participant. This is a moot point on our place, as we mostly use Artificial Insemination, and the mare is sweet talked by a "teaser" stallion and then bred while standing in stocks by a technician. We have qualified technicians on site and have a very high rate of first-try pregancy.
